OBITUARY
Virginia Perrotta was born in 1933 to Rose and Steve. They had four children: Pasquale, Virginia, Doris and Carol. She grew up in Harlem and at the age of 21 met, and married Michael Chieffo. Together they had two daughters, Michele and Karen. After the death of Michael, she met Michael Perrotta who she married in 1988. Her home base was Bellerose where she raised her daughters.
Virginia and Michael spent many years in Palm City, Florida where they enjoyed life golfing, playing tennis, swimming and having a beautiful social life. Virginia volunteered at Martin Downs Hospital for 20 years. It gave her great joy to serve the community. She was active in her New York Parish of St. Gregory the Great and always enjoyed bringing up the gifts.
She bowled, did ceramics, made stain glass, gardened and was always there to help out. Her greatest joy and love were her five grandchildren: Marisa, Anthony, Jonmichael, Alexa and Andre. She was delighted to welcome her great grandson, Giovanni who she referred to him as her angel.
A life lived with love, surrounded by family and friends always, a true blessing for her. A blessing for us to call her mom, Mimi, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Virginia will be missed dearly but she left us with happy times, funny times and loving memories we all will cherish till we meet again. We love you Mom/Mimi

I am sad to hear of Virginia's passing. We kept in touch through Birthday, Christmas and Easter cards and spoke on the phone. I have fond memories of our times at the beach which we both loved. She and my dad had many happy years together. I am happy she lived a long and good life. Sincerest sympathy and condolences to Michele and Karen and their families. May she be at peace. Blessings.
I'm sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. She was a great partner to my Dad and always kept him on the go. I'm pleased she had such a long life, and enjoyed her girls and grandchildren. My condolences to Michelle and Karen, and to her entire family.
My sister Virginia was one of a kind But if you needed her she was always there for you. If you had a cold she would bring you chicken soup. We were ten years apart but it did not make any difference. We were close and spent much time together. She will be missed but always remain in my heart. RIP my dear sister.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I remember sitting with her at the Mineola Pool. She loved being there with you Karen and Stephen. What a special lady!!
