OBITUARY
With heavy hearts, we announce that Valerie Pellechia, 88, of Garden City Park, NY passed away on November 22nd. A devoted wife, predeceased by 6 days by her husband George of 65 years. Survived by her children, AnnaMarie, Robert (Maria), Suzanne (Rob) and a loving Granny to her grandchildren Matthew, Kaitlin, Allison and Nicole. She is survived by niece, Lorraine Bodzas Doody.
Valerie was born in Bacska, Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1947. She was a proud “domestic engineer” and later worked various office jobs. She volunteered as a Cub Scout Den mother and a CCD home religious instructor. Valerie was also a member of Holy Spirit Church in NHP and a Columbiette of the K of C.
