Tommy you were and always be a light of my life. Freddie Devine called me and said you were to be part of my gang he was not kidding, we lived liked and loved so much together and developed a life long relationship I will never forget and never will 6' . We and my kids and never forget such a wonderful friend , miss you and will never stop loving Tom Ryan !

So sad to hear of the passing of Tommy Ryan. Rest in Peace, my brother. You were surely the true meaning of "a stand up guy"!

From the day in 1974, when Tommy came out for the Finest Football Team, through 2344 hrs last Saturday night, Tommy has been a part of my life. You couldn't ask for a more loyal friend, one who would be there, no questions asked, if I, or any of his friends needed help. A Bronx cop, the "Mayor" of Long Beach, a 50 year member of the Finest Football Family, he will never be forgotten.
