A life time of memories. It started back in 1946 when I was the new baby over the road Tom O'Conner had to relinquish his carriage (PRAM) for the new kid on the block. This PRAM was a 1930 vintage used to raise his two older siblings may they all R. I. P. We didn't have any Bugaboo baby carriages back them times it was a low wheel weak on the suspension but it did for two more of my brothers. The years rolled on and T O'C boarded the plane for the Bronx in 1960 and four years later I joined him we remained roommates up to the time we got married. I can say he was a better housekeep…
We will miss his grand spirit. It was always great spending time with Dad O'Connor at 499 Beech Street. He had a great salutation I still try to use today. Whenever we would meet up I would ask him, "How are you doing today Mr. O'Connor?" And he would say, "Great, never better!"
