OBITUARY

On July 31, 2022 Teresa Ward peacefully passed away at the age of 84. Terry was a beloved wife of 59 years, mother, sister and grandmother. She has been received by her parents, Sarah and Michael, and her brothers Joe and Mike.

At the age of 16 Terry moved from Loughglinn, County Roscommon, Ireland to Brooklyn. She quickly became an active member of the Irish community where she made many lifelong friends. Terry spent many nights dancing at the Jaeger House where she met the love of her life, Mike. In the 62 years they spent together they had 5 children and many beloved grandchildren. Terry loved spending time in the Catskills where she would go dancing with Mike and spend time with family and friends.

Terry was best known for her love of the Mets. She never missed a game. Anyone who knew her knows you were very special to Terry if she would talk to you while the Mets were playing or the Price is Right was on. She could always be found in her favorite recliner alongside Mike watching her favorite shows.

We love you and miss you already. It’s time to put the kettle on for that hot cup of tea. Rest in peace.
