OBITUARY

Stephen Baymack, 83, of New Hyde Park, formerly of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, passed away on Thursday, September 22nd in the presence of his loving family. An Eagle scout in his youth and a proud Army veteran, Steve retired from the NYPD in 1999 after 37 years of service as a Sgt-Special Assignment in the radio shop and as a voiceprint examiner. He served as a Eucharistic minister in Notre Dame Church for over 30 years and in his retirement became the trip chairman and Bingo caller for his beloved friends at the N.H.P. Leisure Club. Stephen is survived by Marion, his loving wife of 57 years, 2 children, Stephen (Laura) and Valerie Santeramo (Frank) and 5 grandchildren, Jaclyn, Stephen, Amanda, Frankie and Derek. We are most grateful to God for this wonderful man whose goodness and generosity touched so many lives. Visitation at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY on Sunday, September 25th from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM. Funeral Mass at Notre Dame Church on Monday, September 26th at 9:30 AM. Interment at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
