Secondo Dino Biordi, aged 77, made his journey to heaven on March 12, after a long and brave battle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jane, his adoring children Nancy (Frank), Dina (George), and James (Christine), his grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye, Samantha (Scott), Pamela (Joseph), Frankie, James, Mia and Gianna, his first great-grandchild Cameron, his brother John, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Yolanda and Giovanni, and brother Claudio.
For more than 50 years, Dino was the proud owner of Biordi and Biordi Construction in Corona, Queens.
After retiring, Dino continued doing what he loved to do, working in his home wood shop. He made numerous works of art out of scrap wood and corks. From birdhouses, to serving trays, to trinkets- no project was a challenge for him. If he saw a picture, he took it on as his new project and mastered it every time. Dino’s memory will live on through all of his amazing projects that he shared with so many.
Dino will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.

So sorry for your loss. I never met Secondo Dino Biordi, but know that I benefited through his influence in teaching his son James how to run a great business. From what I hear he was a good man to all who worked with him, and most importantly, to his family. Condolences to everyone who was blessed to have him in their lives.
It was an honor to have known Dino and to have worked with him. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. He was truly a gentle man. My heart goes out to the entire Biordi family. May he rest in peace.
As long as you remember me, I am never entirely lost.
