OBITUARY
Rose Fiorenti—a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished friend, and dedicated member of her community passed away on May 28, 2026.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Vincent, with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, friendship, and faith. She is also survived by her younger brother, Steven. Rose was the proud and loving mother of three daughters, Maria (Chris), Rosanne (Paul) and Michelle (Anthony). She loved her sons-in-laws like her own children. Nothing brought Rose greater pride than her family, and she adored her grandchildren—Ryan (Alexis), Jennifer, Alyssa (Keithan), Danielle, and Jack—who were a constant source of joy in her life.
She began her professional life working at a photography studio, creating beautiful wedding albums that families still cherish today. Later on, she had a long career at the Lakeville Nursery School, beginning as a pre-school teacher and steadily advancing until she became Principal. For over 10 years, she guided young children, supported families, and helped shape the lives of countless students. Years later, Rose embarked on another chapter of her professional life as Managing Director at the Racquet Club at Old Westbury (RCOW). What began as a summer job blossomed into another career spanning more than 25 years.
Rose was deeply involved in her community throughout her life where she built friendships that would last for decades. Rose was actively involved in the Herricks School District Parent Teacher Association and served as President of the Council. She served as Past President of the Columbiettes, Past President of the New Hyde Park Chapter of Homemakers, and Past President of the Rosary Society. She was also an active member of the Nassau County Council Homemakers, the New Hyde Park Leisure Club, the Doe’s Club, and the Cellini Lodge #2206. Wherever there was an opportunity to help, organize, support, or simply bring people together, Rose was there.
Through her family, friendships, and community service she left an imprint that will never fade. Rose will always remain in our hearts.

My grandmother, Rose, was my light, my inspiration, and someone I loved dearly.
Her kindness, strength, sharp wit, endless love, social personality, and love for seeing new places helped shape every part of who I am today. Of all the qualities I admired in her, one of the most meaningful was the incredible love she shared with my grandfather.
She was the best grandmother anyone could ask for and will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest in peace, Grandma. God bless. I will forever cherish the memories we shared and the love you gave us all. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.❤️❤️
Posting this on behalf of Rose’s husband and soul mate, Vincent Fiorenti. This is a favorite song of theirs and it says it all. They shared a special bond—equal parts friendship and everlasting love. We love you, Mom. Your presence will live forever in our hearts, guiding us with your love and light.
I'll Never Find Another You
Song by The Seekers ‧ 1965
There's a new world somewhere
They call the Promised Land
And I'll be there someday
If you will hold my hand
I still need you there beside me
No matter what I do
For I know I'll never find another you
There is always someone
For each of us, they say
And you'll be my someone
Dear Rose, my friend (sister sister)
The most important to Rose in our life was a husband Vinny, her daughter’s son-in-law’s, and of course, grandchildren who she spoke about all the time with great love, pride, and who they are Rose was always kind and very caring to all she met along the way in her journey of life Rose taught me how to laugh at oneself and how to enjoy the days ahead. We would love to go to the outdoor concerts at all the different park in Nassau County Rose love music, especially Frank Sinatra. I am so blessed to have had Rose as a wonderful friend rose you always there for me. I will miss you terrible.…
Mrs Fiorenti was the gold standard. I never saw her with anything but a smile on her face. I have known her for almost 40 years and she was always loving and welcoming and during Rosanne and my college years, she was the best supplier of candy and a source of fun. She was also an incredible mom to the Fio trio. She will be missed 💕
I knew Rose from the Leisure Club. She welcomed me when I became a new member. I enjoyed our conversations about the 'old days' in Brooklyn. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
