OBITUARY
Rosanne Moss, 70, passed away on January 21, 2023. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Doonan) and James Moss, and her brother Robert Moss. Rosanne is survived by her brothers Jimmy and Tom.
Rosanne will be missed by her brothers Jimmy and Tom, her sisters-in-law Lori and Barbara, her nieces and nephews, Gina, Mike, Kevin, Patricia, and Elizabeth. She was also loved and will be missed by her grand-nieces and nephews, Alexa, Luke, Julia, Dayla, Madison, Cassidy, and Jackson, and her nieces and nephews-in-law, Nicole, Claudio, Jorge, and Doug.
Rosanne grew up in a loving family in Queens, NY, with her parents and brothers. Rosanne was one of the first women in New York to obtain an import/export license, and co-founded and was partner of Harold I Pepper Co Inc until she retired in her 40s. As a loving daughter, she moved in with her mother Elizabeth after her father James passed, and took care of her mother until her passing. Her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews were an important part of her life. She hosted Thanksgivings, stayed over on Christmas Eves, and made sure she took care of them whenever she could. She also loved dog-sitting for her dog niece and nephew, Crouton, and Flip, and for her guinea pig nephew Buddy.
In addition to her successful career, Rosanne was skilled at needlepoint and beading, and designed pillows, jewelry, and keepsakes for her family and friends. She also was extremely talented at calling out the stupidity in people as she saw it, including with her loved ones.
Rosanne will be deeply missed, but she will never be forgotten.
