I know exactly what Irene Campbell means. When I was little, Uncle Bobby would throw me up in the air and catch me and act like seeing me made his day. He is the one who made my day! And he always smelled lovely (nice cologne).
Mr. Higgins was Good Buddies with my Dad (Ed Kelly) He was a good neighbor & friend. Bob was always the first one to visit my Dad when he saw his Buddy sitting on the front porch cleaning his golf clubs and before they knew it there was a porch full of neighbors.
Bob Higgins was a sweet, caring person that was always welcomed. We will miss you. You're probably playing a round of golf with your buddy right now 😉
R.I.P. Bob Higgins
Loved my Uncle Bobby....he made my sisters and I feel very special , from childhood to present day...Uncle Bobby had a great sense of humor, he was witty, kind, committed to his faith and also very handsome...I will surely miss him and our phone call talks...I know he is in heaven and I know he is celebrating a reunion with the Higgins and Mullarkey clans!☘️
I am sad to hear of Uncle Bobby's passing but happy he will be with all the other Higgins' and Mullarkeys who went before him. No doubt there will be a raucous good time up there! Uncle Bobby always made me feel like he was delighted to see me and made me feel like I was special. He was my Godfather and I loved him.
