Sincerest condolences to Marilyn and the entire Hargrove family. Paul was a sweet man who always greeted me with a beautiful smile. I know he will be greatly missed by many. Take care, be well.
Paul Hargrove was an NYPD Police Academy instructor in 1982 when I was in the academy. I ran into him a few years later and saw that he was a sergeant in the 115 Pct. I always saw him at SBA Christmas luncheons and he always remembered me. He was always so kind and nice and helpful. May God bless Sgt. Hargrove and hold him close.
Sgt Hargrove was indeed a very special person. He shared an August 8th Birthday with my son, who was also a SGT in Truck 7. He was a fixture at the NYPD annual put on by Tom Biggers. He also attended the Sgt. Keith Ferguson 5k across the Brooklyn Bridge regularly. He was a fixture at everything supportive of his ESU brothers/sisters and their families. The Holy name society will not be the same without him. Sending love and gratitude to the family of this wonderful man. Truck 7 Mom
