Rest in peace, paddy, never got the chance to, meet up, but maybe one day.
Just learned of Pat's passing this morning. Hadn't seen him in years but we would chat on the phone occasionally, usually around his Feb 29 birthday. Kept saying to myself I would see him when I'm next in New York - but never did. Shame on me...he approached his illness with courage and humor. Belated condolences to his family.
So sorry to hear of Paddy's passing, my condolences to all his family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Paddy and his family back in 2018 in New York and he could not have done more for us. Such a warm presence to be around and full of knowledge. I hope we were able to return the favour when he came to visit us in Ireland. Truly a huge loss, there will never be another like him. May he rest in peace.
