OBITUARY
Mildrede Fontaine passed away on Friday February 9th, 2024. Mildrede was born in Jeremie, Haiti to parents Fleurette Defay, and Augustine Fontaine. Mildrede was predeceased by her siblings, Nicole Fontaine, Eddy Fontaine, and Evelyne Fontaine. Mildrede is survived by her sibling, Ursulia Ducheine children, Brian Pierre, and Elizabeth Tracey Pierre, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mildrede is most remembered for her kindness, good nature, intelligence, sharp wit, and most importantly her strong faith in Jesus Christ. As a dedicated family woman, Mildrede was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Brian Pierre, and daughter, Elizabeth Tracey Pierre. Mildrede was a proud grandmother to Bria Pierre, her only grandchild. Her children and grandchild brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Mildrede was a pillar of strength and support for her family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. She would oftentimes be found spending countless hours praying with loved ones and friends as a way to spread comfort and lead out in the ministry of Christ.
Mildrede will be fondly remembered for her, infectious laughter, and boundless generosity. She touched the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. Mildrede’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Mildrede will be deeply missed and cherished beyond measure. May she rest in peace, awaiting the return of Jesus Christ.
