So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I only just found out that he passed over 2 years ago. I worked with Mike at No Nonsense during the 1980s. He started with them in 1976 & was their NY Key Accounts Manager upon my first meeting him in 1981. By 1982, he was promoted to NY Zone Manager. He was such a gregarious guy, always looking to have fun. One day, when he was supposed to accompany me to supervise my handling of account calls, he instead took me to an arcade in Whitestone where we played video games all day! Hey, what could I do? He was my boss, & it wasn't my place to question his supervisory skills!…

Well said guys. Yes very sad to hear about Mike. Was looking forward to seeing him at the reunion. As I'm typing this I am saddened but also cheered as I recall some of the memories. Great guy. Great teammate. I recall seeing him at one of the reunions maybe the 25th or 30th. Easy going and friendly as ever. He was with Mike Brewitt (spelling ?). Said he was in sales and living in Floral Park (I think).
I recall him behind the plate and at bat hitting hard line drives. Also , infield practice throwing rockets to second base and all 140lbs of me trying to catch the throws! Think I may still have some bruises on my…

Can't believe Mike/Harvey is gone. The was the gentle giant back in school, many times on the court,Tommy, Jack and myself would plead with him to use that big body under the boards. I can't remember what game it was but he finally decided to stop being Mr. Nice guy and had the best scoring game of his career at CK. From that day on we decided we didn't need to push him any longer. He will be surely missed if this reunion ever comes to pass. My saddest condolences to his entire family.

Mike was a great teammate of mine in basketball and baseball at CK high school. I talked with him in Feb, 2020, and he was psyched to attend the CK reunion planned in May. None of us know the hour nor the day. I am sad not to see Mike again after many years. But it cheers my soul to remember him, his easy laugh, his readiness to sing, his spirit of life. May God grant him eternal life. And may God bless Ginny, his devoted partner for many years, his 3 daughters and their grandchildren. We will all miss him, but not forget him.
