In light of the current circumstances, the family will be keeping funeral services private. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date, including a Memorial Mass at Holy Spirit RC Church in New Hyde Park.

My mom, Pat and all of our family just learned of your dads passing. We are so very sorry for your loss. What a wonderful neighbor your dad (and mom) were to my grandparents, my parents and my sister & brother for so many years! Truly one of a kind! A man of integrity and faith!

Uncle Michael, You were a wonderful Father Husband and Uncle and will be greatly missed. You are now reunited with Margaret and many relatives and friends in heaven. Uncle Michael, we will always remember that booming voice, that caring heart, that Irish mist, always there for us through good and not so good times no matter what. They'll never be another one to replace the space in our hearts for he always gave the best he had.
