OBITUARY
Matthew Ryan Slovensky, 31 years old, originally from Garden City, NY, currently living in
New York City, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2024. Matthew was a Graduate from Garden City High School and Penn State University with an Accounting and Finance degree.
He worked in Finance and enjoyed snowboarding, swimming, and the outdoors.
He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who always put others before
himself. Even at an early age he made the decision to become a donor to continue helping others upon his death.
Preceded in death by Grandparents (Juan Fernandez, Amparo Fernandez, and Helen
Slovensky), Aunts (Maria Gomez, and Rosemary McPartland), Uncles (James McPartland
and Gerard Crepeau), Survived by Mother Iris Slovensky, Father Mark Slovensky, Sister
Lauren Slovensky and Brother Patrick Slovensky

I was so sad to hear about Matt's passing. He was always such a gentle soul and the first to lend a helping hand. Rest in peace Matt, we will all truly miss you and I hope you get all the nerd rope you can enjoy.
