OBITUARY
Marilyn Lamar was born on June 27, 1941 to Elizabeth and Howard Malloy of Brooklyn New York. Marilyn passed away on April 30th, 2020. Loving wife to her husband, Robert Lamar, for 60 years.
Beloved sister to Lois (Jim), Linda (Jerry), Gail (Don), Lillian (Ed), Maureen (Cliff) and her brother Howard who she will join in heaven.
Beloved mother of Regina (Frank), Lorraine (Thomas), Christine (Steve), Thomas (Oya-Deceased, Sue-Fiancé), Elizabeth (Thomas).
Wonderful grandmother of Frankie, Chrissy, Jessica, Megan, Catie, James, Annemarie, Shannon, Jackie, Danny, Allie, Stephanie, Robert, Bernadette.
Beloved Great grandmother of Kira, Edward, Dylan, Riley, David.
Raised in Brooklyn, she moved with her growing family to Wantagh, NY, in 1969. She was an active parishioner of Saint Barnabas the Apostle.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, which often involved her hosting large family gatherings for the holidays and birthdays. She enjoyed traveling, was an active reader, loved dancing, movies and family time.
