OBITUARY

Marianne F. Morrison, age 106, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025. Born in Haugesund, Norway, Marianne immigrated to Brooklyn, New York, as a young lady. She remained deeply proud of her Norwegian roots throughout her life, passing on traditions and stories that connected her family to their heritage.

A devoted wife, she shared 49 loving years of marriage with her late husband, Richard Morrison. Marianne was the cherished mother of Judith Faulkner and Dianne Albrektsen, the beloved grandmother of Andrea Albrektsen, Glenn Albrektsen (Carol Ann), Alison Berrios (Fred), and James Faulkner (Jennifer). She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren, Amanda, Connor, Julia, Kaitlyn, Ava, Jaime, Jenna, and Jessica, each touched by her gentle wisdom and unwavering love. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Injohanne Flynn.

A true matriarch, Marianne was the heart of her family. She had a quiet strength and a caring spirit, always reminding those around her that family is everything. She loved to needlepoint and found joy in the small, meaningful details of life, especially those that brought comfort to others.

Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped shape, and she will be remembered always for the love she gave so freely.

I never met Marianne but according to my birth certificate my birth mother Ingerjohanne Iversen Larsen was her sister. I will have Marianne's soul in my prayers at my church in Clearwater, Florida on June 15th.

I would cherish getting to know any of the family as I just received my original birth records 7 days ago from New Jersey. I never knew I was adopted from my parents. I found out by accident in the 1980s but records were sealed until 2017.

My name is

Karen Dunn Bosso

Hope Sonya Iversen Larsen is my birth name
