John and I watched Lucas grow up. We are absolutely devastated of hearing this news. Lucas was a very kind person, and would only bring smiles and love to all he met. May God bless his soul, and may he find comfort in the arms of an angel.

I was devastated to hear about the passing of Lucas, and I give my most sincere condolences.
Lucas was one of my closest friends when I attended NCC and I have yet to meet someone with a mind as intricate and beautiful as his. We spoke about faith, philosophy, psychology, you name it. I remember we would have 2-3 hour phone calls and in-person conversations on a weekly basis, and they were always so meaningful and thought-provoking. I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lucas. He was truly one of the most wonderful young men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Every time I spoke with him—whether in the hallways of NCC or when he stopped by my office—he was always polite, respectful, full of energy, and genuinely kind.
Lucas had a way of brightening the day of those around him with his warm smile and positive spirit. His presence was a gift, and his loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.

Dear Hiram, Chantel and Landon, Our most deepest and sincere condolences on the loss of such a special young man. Lucas made a beautiful impression on our family in just the couple times we were with him. He was kind, thoughtful and loving and these qualities are so precious to Jehovah.
