OBITUARY
Louise Forti, age 83, peacefully entered heaven on June 4, 2025.
A devoted partner , mother, and grandmother, Louise was a talented hairdresser and bookkeeper by trade. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—crocheting, gardening, and spending time with those she loved most.
Louise faced her battle with metastatic breast and lung cancer with extraordinary strength and grace, fighting bravely until the very end.
She is survived by her beloved partner of 48 years, Gerry; her daughter, Rene; son-in-law, Alfred; and cherished grandchildren, Alex and Talia. She now joins her dear son, Richard, in eternal rest.
Louise’s warmth, resilience, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in honor of the exceptional care she received.
