Oh Lorraine! Grace and I talk about you all the time and wondered why we had not heard from you recently. Now we know... This is such sad news. We will remember the old times; working together at Debevoise, going to Acapulco, seeing Flock of Seagulls. We all had so much fun together. Rest in peace my old friend. Until we meet again. My heartfelt condolences to Al and Laura.

I wish there were more people in the world like Lorraine! Not an unkind word nor ever a complaint. I will surely miss her eloquently written emails just to say hello and keep in touch. Lucky in life to have met my cousin and marry and create a beautiful daughter (Laura). I'm sorry for your loss and wish I could be there with you . Denise & Family

Deepest sympathy to Alphonse , Laura and family on the loss of your wife and mother. I remember her as a very sweet, caring lady and always with a smile on her face. I hope your dear memories give you much comfort during this sad time. With love, Darese and family

My heart is so sad and hurt. Lorraine who new that when you and your family moved on our block about 55 years ago we would be Blessed to become life long friends. It all started when I was a brazen little girl decided to walk across the street eating a banana and open your gate and ask who you were and introduce myself. How we have laughed about this for years. My heart will treasure the decades of memories made on this friendship journey. From jumping rope playing running bases getting yelled at by the Good Humor man Clint (he was crabby and couldn't handle us kids lol) . You on your balcony me and my sister on our stoop…

My dear, darling friend Lorraine. I will deeply miss all the fun times we had growing up. From St. Mary's to Mater Christi. 12 yrs together. Then continuing from HS onto adulthood. All the parties, clubs, dancing, Chinatown, Maurice Park, visits to your house with Al n Laura. You were a beautiful person inside n out n had a heart of gold. You own a piece of my heart...forever. RIP, until we meet again. Love you forever, Anthony Maraldo.
