OBITUARY
Lisa Lobosco Silvestri, age 64, of Floral Park NY, lost her brave battle with colon cancer on October 7, 2023. Lisa's life would seem too short to many, but those of us fortunate enough to be touched by her understand that her presence and the imprint she left on our hearts far exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She was an avid baker who enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family and girlfriends. Lisa is survived by Joseph, her adoring husband of 37 years. Through her fight, he never left her side. Her son Joseph married Gianna and blessed Lisa with their children Joseph and Autumn. Her daughter Antoinette married Lusiano and brought their sons Luca and Milo into Lisa’s life. Her four grandchildren were the absolute light of her life and they carry her memory forward with them. She is also survived by her brother, Gerard and her sister, Joanne. Viewings will be held at New Hyde Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11 from 2pm-4:30pm and from 7pm-9:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice Center at Mercy Hospital.

I do not even know where to begin to say goodbye to such a wonderful, kind, classy and compassionate friend. Lisa, you made me see the world differently and you made such a difference my life. My husband and children loved you! We were all excited when you rang the bell. We will miss you so much. Your magnetic smile lit up a room. I always leaned on your diverse and extensive knowledge of everything.. there was no subject you didn't know well enough to give a great answer. Heaven has certainly gained an angel and I know you are watching over us from a different place now. Rest easy my beautiful friend .. until we meet again! …
I've only known Lisa for a short time,I was introduced to Lisa through Jesse Polizzi. Lisa and her family mean the world to Jesse. From the time that I met Lisa, I can tell she was a very special lady. Lisa had a heart of gold and was a beautiful classy lady inside and out. She was a strong woman and touched everyone she seem to have met in her life including me.
You will be dearly missed.May you rest in peace Lisa ........
My deepest sympathies to the family .
I'm so sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathy for your family.
Lisa was a true angel. An amazing person inside and out. My brother and his family were lucky 🍀 to have her in their lives and so were we. May she rest in peace and continue to watch over all that she has touched.
May you rest in peace my dear cousin
