Ben was my hero for the three years we attended DeWitt Clinton together, '65 to '68. I will miss him terribly.
Ben was always kind and gracious towards me. He was a great man and will be missed.
Benny, you were one of the most gentle, pure kind hearted, most giving people of dragonboat I had met. I don't think I ever heard a harsh word come out from you. Your commitment and devotion to the community and things you loved was not unnoticed. I'll always remember you happily cutting up and serving watermelon to everyone on race days. My thoughts are with your family, all that love you, and everyone whose lives you've impacted.
Deepest condolences to Ben's family and Wall Street Dragons. The dragon boat community lost a great soul. Ben was always there to encourage and lend a helping hand. He will be missed. Rest Ben, for you have done so much for others. Thank you.
We are so sad with the news of Bennie's passing. We enjoyed knowing and spending time with him through our friendship with Kent and May Leo. He was truly a real nice guy, soft spoken, gentle and calm, always willing to engage in meaningful conversation. We will cherish our memories of him.
