OBITUARY Kate "Kitty" Ryan (née Phillips) was born on June 17, 1930 and passed on March 20, 2020. Kate was born in County Mayo, Ireland, and came to New York in 1951. Kate never forgot her Irish roots and never lost her Irish brogue. She played the fiddle and was a lover of Irish music. Kate is survived by her son Tom (Jill) and daughters Eileen (Ken), Sheila (Robin), Kathleen (Tomi), and Patricia (Thomas) as well as 8 loving grandchildren and many adored nieces and nephews. So much of my childhood was in the Ryan household swimming in the pool in the backyard to fun times playing in the basement I will always remember the kindness of Mrs. Ryan's heart she was truly an amazing lady Very warm and welcoming rest in peace say hi to my mom and dad until we meet again
