OBITUARY

Joseph P Owens, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026 at the age of 92.

Born and raised in Bayside, New York, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Eileen, and together they built a beautiful life in New Hyde Park, where they spent their entire marriage raising their family and creating lasting memories.

He dedicated 37 years of his career as an engineer at Sperry in Lake Success, where he was respected for his hard work and commitment. He will be remembered for his love of dancing, his devotion to family, and the steady, caring presence he brought to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Eileen; his son, Joey (Sue); his daughters, Maureen Zebroski (Kevin) and Carol Roy (Tim); and his cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Micaela, Lauren, Ryan, Christopher, Kyle, Liam, and Owen.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
