Dear Pat, Mary, Tom & family,

We are so sorry for your loss.

Joe was a great mate even though we are thousands of miles away I would hear from Joe almost weekly (via email most times) as we barracked for the same AFL (Australian Football League) team - Carlton - the mighty Blues! No surprise Joe would also follow an Australian League sport as we all know he loved his Sports!

And what a mighty bloke Joe was further cementing our friendship for following the "Blues".

My trips to NYC made very special when catching up with you, Joe, Mary & Tom at our favorite Italian (Sam's).. many laughs and memories I will never forget but will miss Jo…

Dear Pat, I am sorry for your loss. I am a childhood friend of Joe. Early 70's for several years. He loved music. I remember him treating me to see Marvin Gaye at Forest Hills Stadium. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great guy. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Pat, so sorry for your loss. I have nothing but fond memories of Joe hanging out in the old neighborhood and of course Woodstock! He was a great guy with big heart.

Sending you and your family condolences with peace and love.

RIP Joey.

I still vividly remember my summer visits with you both - learning to cook and sew and oh the music. So much music. I wish now that I could go back and do it all over again and savor every moment. Now Uncle Joe Red and my dad are together making jokes. All the love and prayers until we're all together again for one more summer.

My dearest Patty, It is so very hard to imagine you without Joe smiling by your side. My Peter and your Joe were such cutups together. Now they will be doing it in heaven. Boy are we in trouble. We were blessed to have had Joe be a part of our lives. He made you so very happy, and that in turn made us happy. I wish that I could hold you and give you a big hug, but alas my prayers and thoughts will have to suffice . We loved and love, the "Music Man Joe Red". All our love always, Kathy (& Peter) and the Kids
