OBITUARY

John B. Mullin of Garden City, New York, departed this world peacefully to enter his eternal place of rest on Friday, October 4, 2024. John was a proud alumnus of Chaminade High School and Boston College, where he met his wife of 38 years, Patricia Mullin. John’s kindness, humor, work ethic, and faith were apparent to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife Patricia Mullin, his three children Brian P. Mullin (John P. Mullin, grandson), Colleen M. Whitner (Liam J. Whitner, grandson), and Kevin R. Mullin. A wake will be held Monday, October 7th from 4pm to 8pm at New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8th at 10am at St. Anne’s Church, 35 Dartmouth St., Garden City, NY 11530.

John was my neighbor growing up, he comes from a wonderful family. He was a wonderful individual, successful, family oriented. He will be missed.
