Sincere sympathy to Mike all the family on the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother.
It was a beautiful Mass. May God grant you comfort at this time.
My late mother Mary Teresa O' Driscoll (nee O'Sullivan Coolnaclehy, Skibbereen, Co Cork) would have been doubly related.
Teresa O'Hea & family, Kinsale, Co Cork
The warmest welcome always awaited you from Joan when you called to Elmhurst and Floral Park.
Tea, so much tea, great chats, amazing food, and so much energy to go out and seize the day.
If you came to stay from Ireland for a day or much longer, Joan took you under her wing, in her car and on the train to pack so much in everything from site seeing to shopping to ball games. Her zest for adventure was palpable - there was always a plan to be going, going, going. She showed her love by generously sharing her time and her home but also poured into her amazing creations, like the beautiful quilts she made when my son…
My dear friend Maureen. you have the love and prayers of the Moley and Lenczewski Families. We love you.
To Mike and all of the Sullivan family please accept our deepest condolences on the very sad loss of Joan.
I fondly remember our cousins visiting during my childhood and being struck of the warmth and deep connection she had with Ireland and her family at home. Despite having not seen in other in many years the huge hugs were an instant reminder of the love for family.
Joan was a powerhouse and I am so thankful that we were welcomed to stay with you many times over the years and especially during the 5 weeks in the summer of 94 where we again welcomed as family despite eating you out of house and home.
I'm grateful for the many…
Maureen and family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Your mom was always so kind to me during high school and beyond.
Sincerely, Barbra (Solomon) O'Connor
