Jill Ann Brizzi

1949 - 2020

OBITUARY

Jill Ann Brizzi, beloved daughter of Gilda (deceased) and Andy (deceased), dear sister of Barbara and Lori Brizzi, succumbed to her battle of COVID-19 on April 16, 2020. Jill was adored by her many cousins across the country and loved by longtime boyfriend Professor Richard Feuer.

Jill Ann was a very special and unique individual. She was multi talented in the arts and a very nurturing and gentle soul. Because of her intelligence, she had a wit that was very clever and sometimes kooky. She loved to play on words. Her creativity drew her to the arts where she excelled as a piano, keyboard, accordion and guitar musician and was a beloved music teacher. She was a writer and poet and an artist with several gallery exhibits. In her younger days when the Hustle dance became popular, Jilly became a ballroom and Hustle competitor and won many trophies.

Jill Ann was a dedicated bird and animal lover. Because of this love, she was a committed vegetarian for many years of her life and didn't eat anything 'that had a face'. Because of her sweet and sensitive nature, she cared and contributed to causes that supported orphan children and helpless animals. With such a big heart, she empathized greatly with those suffering from physical or mental challenges. Jilly had a special bond with her dog, Buddy and we know they had a great reunion when he greeted her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Although she had to overcome several obstacles in her life, she did her best to face them with grace, strength, humility and humor. She always maintained her unconventional hippy spirit like a true Zen Master. She is very much missed.
