What a wonderful person! I only knew Jean for a few years when I met her at Scott's and Sabrina's special occasions. I only wish I had more time to get to know her. She was witty and best friends with Sabrina's mother. I loved to hear her stories while visiting my mother's house on Long Island. We connected via email in 2021 and Jean shared a love and passion she had; she loved to build ancestry family trees. She connected met to the Urso/Krupp tree. Wow, what an expert. Barbara- I didn't know Jean even though I have been a lifelong resident of NHP. And please don't think I'm trolling here but are you a relation to Joe Tretola who I knew so well from the Elks I think? I owned the New Hyde Park Funeral Home until 5 years ago.
Oh Cousin I will miss our chats but will not forget you
God sent down an angel many years ago to give us so much joy and laughter.
And now you have returned to be with him.
We will miss your presence and joyful spirit and zest for life, but know you are watching over us.
