OBITUARY
Jaswant N Oza September 9, 1932 - April 27, 2023
Jaswant Oza passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, at 90 years of age. He was born on September 9, 1932 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India, where he received a Bachelor's in Accounting and became a certificated Charter accountant. He moved to New York, USA in 1980 with his wife and two kids for a better life. Once settled down, he worked for the Department of Transportation as an accountant. He retired in 2001.
Jaswant is survived by his wife, Jayshree Oza; their son and his wife, Manoj Oza and Pallavi Oza; their daughter and her husband, Rita Patel and Hiren Patel; and four grandchildren, Dhara Oza, Julie Patel, Nikhil Patel, Victor Oza.
He was kind, generous, and caring towards his family members and friends. He did everything he could to support his family, he served as his family’s rock and protector, a constant source of strength and guidance. He viewed things from different angles and injected laughter and fun into conversations. He is a devotee to Goddess Gayatri Ma and Shri Ganpati. He has performed many Gayatri Havanas. He worked hard throughout his life with a tremendous fighting spirit to overcome all obstacles.

Hey Dada, Just finished up my first semester of grad school! Through my school career up until my senior year of college you would always ask about my report card.
