We've lost Mr. D but we will always have what he left for us: the memories of a lifetime filled with greatness, humility, integrity, and a whole bunch of smiles. He was a lovable friend and an excellent mentor to the scouts of Troop 544 and myself.
Jim, you were an early Scout mentor to me. Thank you for all you did for the Scouts and adult volunteers.
Wonderful gentleman and Scout Master. May he rest in peace with Peggy.
Mr & Mrs D welcomed us first when we moved to this neighborhood. A loving family and we cannot forget his sense of humor. Prayers for all the bereaving family members especially Peggy. We will miss him.
Mr. D was a major part of my life growing up.... he will always be in our hearts!! Now he has joined Mrs. D and my parents.. thinking they are up in heaven having cocktails! Prayers to all his family!!
