OBITUARY

IreneJane Moran entered into eternal peace on January 7, 2026.  Irene, a resident of

New Hyde Park, was born in Brooklyn, New York to Margaret (née Thornton) and Thomas Crowley.  Irene was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Peter, who passed in 2011. She is the beloved mother of Patricia Shea (Brian), Coleen Martucci (Glenn) and Peter.  Lovingly known as MeMe to her grandchildren, Erin (Patrick), Faith (Dan), Brendan, Daniel, Tommy and Jude and adored great grandmother to Maeve, Griffin and Ronan.  Predeceased by her parents and her brother Wilbert and sister Florence.  Irene was a strong wonderful woman who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
