OBITUARY

Irene Tsang, beloved wife, mother, and soon-to-be grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, in New York City. Born on August 23, 1962, in Hong Kong, Irene brought warmth and love to all who knew her.

Irene is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel; her loving daughters, Euphemia and Stephanie; her son-in-law, William; her eagerly awaited grandson, Adrian; her mother Margaret Wong; and three brothers Paul, Edwin and Gallant.

A dedicated professional, Irene served as an HR director, where she touched many lives with her kindness and expertise. Outside of work, she had a passion for traveling, reading, knitting, and volunteering, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Irene’s life was marked by her unwavering positivity, humility, and a relentless growth mindset. Known for her incredible organizational skills and attention to detail, she was a thoughtful and supportive presence to all around her. Irene had a wicked sense of humor and could always find the silver lining in every situation, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her unwavering faith in God remained steadfast, even in the face of a grave diagnosis, continues to inspire and uplift those around her.

A funeral service to honor Irene’s life will be held on July 20, 2024, at New Hyde Park Funeral Home. Viewing will take place from 8:00 to 9:30 am (EST), followed by a service from 9:30 to 11:00 am (EST). There will be a private lunch and cremation service for close family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP. In lieu of other gifts, white floral arrangements delivered directly to the funeral home are preferred to honor her memory.
