I was writing to wish Howard a very happy birthday today, and wondering why I had not seen any Facebook posts from him in awhile. Now I know. I am so sorry, Howard. You were much too young. I had the honor to know you since we were little kids in elementary school at PS 115 in Glen Oaks. You were always a very nice, smart, friendly good guy. Rest in peace, dear old friend.
Howard, I never imagined that I would lose you. You are the best and most decent person I ever met and I am really going to miss you. Love you, Howard.
I haven't seen Howard Ngai in almost thirty years, but he is a big part of some great memories I have from being a Boy Scout. He was a sweet guy and a top notch person. RIP.
