OBITUARY
We celebrate the beautiful life of “Chef Guy” Cerina who was taken from us too soon on September 24th,2025, at the age of 63. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Guy was a lifelong lover of food and devoted over 40 years to his craft. He had a love for Godzilla, tattoos, Stella the dog, and his assortment of flavored drink syrups. Most of all his love for his wife Theresa, together since 1982, was endless. Guy lived a vibrant life, was loved deeply, and will be greatly missed.
We welcome all who knew Guy to join us in celebrating his life. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Victory Church, in Floral Park.

To the Cerina family, my condolences to you on the loss of Guy. Such a nice person taken from the world to soon. Lovedto visit your home on Halloween for trick or treating to see your beautiful costumes together. Saw him over the summer walking your dog Stella. I still can't believe it, thank you for sharing a dance piece for my birthday and for coming ton my humble home, it was nice enjoying your company, you will my Douglas who considered you a friend, I pray than you soul finds rest, you have already enjoyed your life to fullest with your dear Theresa, may God cover you with his holy mantle , my condolences and heartfelt sympathy to your family in the face of this tragic event.
