OBITUARY

Grace Quinlan, a longtime resident of New Hyde Park, NY passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025.  Born on December 11, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, Grace was the daughter of the late Grace and John Regis O’Donoghue.  She was a life long teacher, professor and tutor.  Math was her passion. She loved crossword puzzles, sudoku, scrabble, cooking and gardening. Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune were part of her nightly routine. Spending time with her family and friends was her favorite thing to do. Grace met her husband Edward of 52 years while teaching. She was preceded in death by her son Marc. She is survived by her husband Edward, daughter Michele (Waldy), daughter Shane (Jace), son Sean, and daughter Courtney (Kevin). She adored her 3 grandchildren Milan, Elliot and Ryan. To know her was to love her. She led a life full of love, strength and selflessness. She had an infectious laugh and magnetic soul.  She touched many lives over the years and will be greatly missed.
