I worked with Gerard at the Department of Veterans Affairs years ago, and now my sadness can't be easily described. He was such a kind and intelligent man who I was so glad to read for, as he so diligently typed away. He was so understanding and amazing at the same time. I could talk with him for hours. May his family's memories keep them all whole.
Gerry was an amazing friend. R.iP he surely will be missed
