My deepest condolences to Gerry's family.
I just found out that he moved on to a better place and I wish I could have had the chance to talk with him one more time.... at the bakery while enjoying a cup of coffee. Reminiscing about his military days and comparing them to my days in the military were something I always looked forward to: His talks brightened up my day and put a smile on my face that lasted the entire day. I'll never forget how funny he was, the advice he gave, and all the crazy stories he told. He was one of a kind, and he'll never be forgotten. Rest In Peace my friend.
Love,

Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Gerard. May he Rest In Peace.
Our sincerest sympathies to Jack, Kevin, Kenny, Eileen and their families on the passing of one of the good guys. God bless Gerard, as he is re-united with his loved ones who have gone before him. You will be missed.
With love, Al, Jeannie and family
I don't think I'll ever meet anyone quite like Gerard McCann again. Someone once told me that no matter where you went with Gerry there was always someone coming by to say hello. He seemed to know everyone.
I'll miss our phone calls and his never ending amazing stories. He was a proud, tough, Irish-Catholic kid from the Bronx - with a very good heart.
My deepest condolences to the McCann family.
Rest in peace, Gerry
