OBITUARY
Gerald McGee of Little Neck, NY, born in Drumshanbo co. Leitrim, Ireland to Bernard and Katie McGee(deceased) on December 21, 1937, passed away peacefully in Vero Beach, Fl. on March 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Gerald is survived by his loving wife Patricia (née Murphy), his sons Kevin and John, daughter in laws Diana and Ann Marie, five grandchildren and one great grandson. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Dwyer.
Also survived by sister in laws Deirdre White and Eileen Murphy, brother in laws Neil White and John Murphy(deceased), eight nieces, two nephews and many extended family and friends. Gerald will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Some 50+ years ago while in college I had the good fortune to work along side Gerry on the Circle Line Yachts. With his terrific attitude and lively brogue, which thank God he never lost, one is easily reminded what a wonderful man he was.
About twenty years ago I was sitting with him on a Lake Michigan beach while his grandson was playing too close to an idling jet ski. Whereas I would have said something along the lines of 'Hey! get away from there', Gerry said to his grandson with his lovely brogue, "You don't want to be doing that". I smiled to myself as his grandson thought he wasn't being admonished but simply was receiving guidance from…
On our first walk on the beach at Del Mar we met Gerry sitting on a chair watching a fishing rod and from that day on we became fishing buddies for the next 10 years. Lots of laughs and good times. We will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathy to Patricia and family. Mario and Kathy Interrante
He was my kid brother who came from Ireland to move in with me and work with me for quite a few years.He took me to City Center Ballroom where I met my wife Pattricia. Thank you Gerry ! You never had a bad word to say about anyone.I love you Bud!
