OBITUARY
George was a treasured husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend to so many.
He fought two types of cancer since 2020 and his fight ended on the morning of December 15th, 2025.
George leaves behind a loving wife, Marion; son, George Jr.; and new daughter-in-law, Caroline. He was passionate about real estate — a fixture in Astoria, Queens for over 40 years. He earned his purple belt in jiu jitsu while fighting stage 4 cancer, a testament to his strength of character.
He fought hard to make it to George Jr.'s wedding and had an amazing time this past September.

George..
So very surprised to hear this. He was a nice and pleasant soul. were all sorry.
The best news that can come of this, is that he's in Heaven! To his family, you will see him again in Heaven, because he and you are Christians. I wish you peace and comfort.
George will be so sorely missed in Astoria. He was truly a fixture in the community and such an incredible person. I've had the pleasure of knowing George for over 20 years, and I always loved calling him where our conversations usually started with real estate, but somehow we'd end up talking about every part of life. I'll miss his sense of humor and his perspective. He was one of a kind, and Ditmars Blvd won't be the same without him. Sending my deepest condolences and so much love to his family.
I'm deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my real estate broker, friend and neighbor. My wife and I lived for 10 years down the block from George's office in a house that we bought and sold through him. I will never forget the day I walked into his office after looking everywhere for a home before deciding we wanted to stay put in Astoria. We had known George for several years by then but hadn't worked with him for a while. When I walked in to George's office and told him I wanted to stay in the neighborhood he said right away "I think I have something for you." We walked across the street together and he showed…
My condolences to George's family. Such devastating news. I've known him for more than 25 years. He was a good man and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend.

George was a great friend, a down to earth human being and someone who never hesitated to share life advice & overall mentorship. I will miss our conversations, his jokes, and his friendship on and off the Jiu Jitsu mats. A purple belt on the mat, a black belt in life. I'll miss you George. You're a stud brother.
