OBITUARY
SICOLI—Frank. Died on May 5, 2021, of cancer at the age of 79. He was born in Long Island City on February 19, 1942. His parents were Anthony Sicoli a barber by profession and musician by passion, and Arletta DeSanto, a homemaker. He began working at Bloomingdale’s 59th ST. for a total of 39 years, interrupted in 1966 when he was drafted into the Marine Corps to serve during the Vietnam War. In August of 1968, he married Dolores DiBenedetto whom he met several years earlier through a mutual friend. They had two daughters and one son, Jennifer, Lisa and Frank Jr. and four grandchildren. Frank was extraordinarily and correctly proud of his children and grandchildren. His face lit up whenever he heard or saw them. In addition to his wife, daughters, son and grandchildren, his younger sister Joann Sicoli survive him. Frank, who was much loved by his family, will be greatly missed by them and by his many friends who loved his humor and infectious laugh.
