Pray for him, Holy Mother of God,
that he may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Reminiscing about my years at Chaminade (1970-1974) ! In the four years there Father Ernest was the only teacher who took the time to learn I preferred to be called by my middle name Kevin! He was a kind man with a mischievous smile that made me laugh ! RIP
This man was born to be a priest and to minister to young men during their formative years. He inspired my family and countless others over the years in his ministry. We were truly blessed to have known him and we will be forever thankful for the positive impact he provided for our three sons while at Chaminade HS and beyond. He became a part of our family and provided spiritual guidance in his own incomparable style. We are so much better for having him in our lives and we will pray for him and never forget him. Fr. Ernest was an exemplary man of God.
