I have known Evelyn for 60 years from when she lived in Ridgewood with her parents' Then they moved to New Hyde Park. After both her parents died, she moved to Albertson. We attended St. Brigid's Church in Ridgewood and we were in the Legion of Mary together. She was a very good friend and a great listener. The last years were very difficult for her as she had to change from an independent person who cared for others to one who became completely dependent on others to care for her. Rest now in peace, Evelyn. Enjoy the home that God has prepared for you.
Evelyn always had a gentle, kind, soft spoken demeanor like an angel. She was a faithful friend who lived a holy life dedicated to helping others. God bless you, Evelyn, happy birthday!
Such a giving, caring, warm person I was privileged to know and volunteer with for many years. Rest in Peace, Sweet and Kind Evelyn.
Evelyn, you fought a hard battle, it's your time to rest with God!
