OBITUARY
Eugene Di Folco passed away on September 10th, 2026. He was a kind and generous spirit who lived as family to many, offering warmth, humor, and the kind of friendship that felt like home.
Eugene was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Lakota Tribe. He carried a deep respect for service, community, and heritage. He loved riding motorcycles on the open road, the rhythm and soul of Santana, gathering at events such as powwows, and spending time with his beloved cats, Misty and Harley.
Gene gave quietly to causes close to his heart and was always willing to help those around him. He had a way of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and never alone. His laughter, free spirit, generosity, and enormous heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Gene will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and carried in the hearts of the many people who were fortunate enough to call him family or friend.

What a shock to hear about Genes passing. I first met him in the early 80's with his crew,Bear and Hobbit. Gene and Hobbit were living a dbl life at that point. Sometimes so happy, kind, generous and fun. Then, dealing with the Agent Orange/Vietnam War nightmares. I did the best I could to help. We lost touch somehow. Now he's finally at peace. We are kindred spirits who will always be there for each other. We shared a love for adventure, music, sarcastic humor and celebrating whatever good came our way. Our talks went on for hours about anything from politics to the craziness of love. You accepted me as I am. Mostly, you understood me. Thank you for being in my life, for your wisdom and for your love. Your spirit will always be with me.
