I'm IMPRESSED, SHOCKED, & very happy to read how EUGENE WEISS turned out! He was the 'juvenile delinquent' of 4th grade (Mrs . Sigmund's class @ NHPK. ROAD SCHOOL). He sat behind me, & tortured me all year, pulling my long braid. The last straw was when he pinched my arm, bruising it, & making me scream & CRY in class! My parents went to his house & confronted them. That finally stopped the BIG BULLY, who was a year older than the other kids! I was SO HAPPY we moved to FLORIDA ! 😁🏖️🌴🌊🌞

Peggy Lou - I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I have such great memories of growing up in Valley Stream and visiting our cousins, you and Gene, in New Hyde Park and connecting with you at Mary's house in Brooklyn.

He had a long history with the…

Knowing him all my life was interesting. I would as kids meet up with him at the high school field and get in trouble with his dog Dollie. Grammar school and high school were just a part of growing up. Last try time I saw him was 25 years ago. This is very sad. Rest in peace old friend. Vinny D
