So sorry to hear this. I worked at InterCall and even though we were on opposite sides of the country, he made an impact on the whole organization. I always thought he was really cool, smart, entertaining, confident, and a determined leader who took care of his people. I wished I could talk the talk like Eric. We had some good times on Gold Club trips and he was someone who made the world a more fun place. It's cool to see how many Intercall people are on here. He made an impact! Eric taught me so much and changed the course of my life. When I was young and just starting out, he took a chance on me. At first, I thought my mistakes and his frustration might do me in, but once he saw how hard I was trying and how honest I was, he took me under his wing. From that moment on, he looked out for me.
Eric was the toughest sales leader I ever met, but to me he was also the kindest, most caring, and most loyal leader I knew. He always made time for me, and he taught me lessons that went far beyond work, especially the importance of being yourself and giving everyone a real…
My heart goes out to Eric's family. He made an impression on everyone he met, may his memories carry on to bring comfort.
I was saddened to learn of Eric's passing. I had the privilege of working with him years ago at InterCall, where I will always remember his booming voice, big laugh, and the persistence and creativity he brought to every challenge in pursuit of a win. In more recent years, it was a pleasure to run into him in the channel, where he never failed to greet me with the same warmth and a big hug.
May his family find peace and comfort in remembering the joy, determination, and spirit he carried through life. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all who loved him during this difficult time.
