Re my previous message . She was my friend when we used to live in 9725 64th Avenue, Rego Park
Her sister was my next door when I lived in Rego Park and Ellen was in the same building , different floor. I was married to Eddie Velez and we partied and drank a lot if wine together . Her sister next door would sometimes come in the Am and wake me up with music so, I would knock on the door and join her . Lol
I just found an old letter from Ellen and decided to look her up and found this obituary.. 🥲🥲🥲. I hope her sister sees this and email me .

My beautiful Neighbor, I will miss you more than you know. I met Ellen, when I moved onto the street, 20yrs ago. We instantly connected. She and I shared our love of music, flowers, art and most of all garage sales. Your were incredibly intellectual, respectful, pleasant, giving and fun! Our street will never be the same. My deepest sympathies go out to her lovely Daughters, her Mom & Family. I will miss you, but most importantly never forget you.

Watching you growing up as a kid and then seeing you care for all your adorable babies when I was a teenager made me realize how much I wanted to have a big family. Your girls are so blessed to have you as their mom, I know you are with them always and forever.
