A Pure and Loving Heart: Born with special needs, Ellie possessed a gentle, unfiltered soul that taught her family the true meaning of unconditional love.
Deep Devotion to Family: She lived a life centered on the people she loved, with daily phone calls with her siblings and asking about her sweet two-year-old great nephew, Brooks, every single day.
The Family Calendar: Blessed with an extraordinary memory of close family’s phone numbers and birthdays by heart, always reminding her siblings to make sure these were not forgotten.
A Spirit of Gratitude: Ellie deeply appreciated the people who cared for her, always insisting on bringing special treats to thank her nurses and caretakers.
Lover of Traditions: She eagerly anticipated every holiday and birthday, happily asking what everyone was making and excited for Marty’s cheesecake and Teri’s homemade manicotti.
Cherished Memories: Some of her happiest moments were spent on vacations to the Outer Banks with Mom, Pop, and brother Dan’s family, where they ate ice cream at the Dairy Barn and played miniature golf with her niece Ilana and nephews Patrick and Paolo.
She also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen helping to prepare her favorite meals (and desserts) alongside Mom and Teri.
Later, she loved when her nieces MaryKate and Olivia, with their dog Pippa, brought pizza for her birthday celebrations.
