My deepest condolences to family and friends - all who knew him. I met him in the 1980's in the brokerage office where I worked at 60 Broad Street in lower Manhattan. We had good conversations and he was a person that shared freely his experience and thoughts about investing. Most significantly, in the mid 1980's he asked me to go to a bank stock offering meeting - but I explained that it was not worthwhile to do - for him or for me. He explained that I was likely wrong about this - and I went. That meeting was better than one's best 3 credit college course. Over the years we shared many ideas. I went on the study…
